Returns & Refunds Policy (Australia)

1) Australian Consumer Law (ACL)  
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced within a reasonable time. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL.

2) Change-of-Mind Returns  
- Window: 14 days from the date you receive the item.  
- Eligibility: Item must be unused, uninstalled, unwashed, in as-new condition, with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags.  
- Exclusions (no change-of-mind returns):  
  - Final Sale: Last in Stock items and discounted or sale items. All sales in these categories are final and non-refundable.  
  - Custom or special-order items, made-to-order parts, laser-cut or 3D-printed items.  
  - Electrical and electronic components once opened or installed (for example sensors, ECUs, wiring, coils).  
  - Items that have been installed, attempted to be installed, used, modified, or damaged.  
  - Fluids, chemicals, hazardous materials, or pressurised items.  
  - Gift cards.  
  - Cut-to-length hose, lines, or any item cut or altered to your specification.  
- Costs: For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping. Original shipping charges are not refundable. A restocking fee (up to 15 percent) may apply to cover inspection, repackaging, and admin.  
- Process: Do not send items back without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation). See section 5.

3) Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (ACL)  
- On arrival: Inspect your order on delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours with your order number, clear photos of the packaging and item, and a description of the issue.  
- Assessment: We may request additional information or testing to determine whether the issue is a manufacturing fault, transit damage, or other cause.  
- Remedy: In line with the ACL, we will organise repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Where the item is confirmed faulty or incorrect, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return costs.  
- Transit damage claims: Must be lodged within the carrier’s claim window; delayed notification may affect the remedy available.

4) Fitment, Use & Compatibility  
- Please confirm compatibility and fitment for your vehicle before purchasing or installing parts. If you are unsure, contact us first.  
- Any item that has been installed or used is considered accepted and cannot be returned for change-of-mind.  
- Performance parts may affect roadworthiness, insurance, emissions, or warranty. You are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.

5) How to Start a Return (RMA Required)  
Email support@FastIndustries.com.au with:  
- Order number, full name, and contact details  
- Item(s) you wish to return and reason  
- Clear photos (including packaging, labels, and the item condition)  

If your return is accepted, we will issue an RMA number and provide instructions. Returns without an RMA may be refused.

6) Packaging & Condition  
Returned items must be securely packed to prevent damage in transit. We may decline or adjust refunds for items returned damaged, missing parts, or with retail packaging defaced (for example labels or tape applied directly to the box).

7) Refunds  
- We will email you once your return is received and inspected.  
- If approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time.  
- Original shipping is not refundable (except where required by law or where we made an error).  
- If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received a refund, please contact us at support@FastIndustries.com.au.

8) Exchanges  
For fastest turnaround, place a new order for the desired item and process the original item as a return (per the rules above).

9) Warranties  
Where a manufacturer warranty applies, we will assist with the claim process. Warranty outcomes and timelines depend on the manufacturer’s assessment and terms. Misuse, incorrect installation, racing use, neglect, or modification may void warranty.

10) International Orders (if applicable)  
Duties, taxes, and import charges are non-refundable. If a parcel is refused or returned due to unpaid duties or taxes or incorrect address, we will refund the item price minus shipping, return costs, and any carrier fees (unless prohibited by law).
