Cancellation policy
PURCHASE OPTIONS & CANCELLATION POLICY
Fast Industries offers standard purchases, pre-orders, made-to-order items, and special-order high-value products. This policy explains how these purchase types work and establishes when cancellations may apply.
Standard Purchases
For regular in-stock items, cancellations may be requested before the order has entered packing or fulfilment. Once an order has been packed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Returns may still be available depending on the product type. See our Returns Policy for details.
Made-to-Order Products
Certain Fast Industries products—such as 3D-printed components, custom-made parts, or items manufactured specifically for your order—are produced to order.
Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. Please review product details carefully prior to purchasing.
Pre-Orders
When you place a pre-order, you are securing a product that is out of stock or currently in production. Pre-orders may require full or partial payment at checkout.
You may request to cancel a pre-order only if it has not yet entered production or fulfilment. Once production has begun or the order has been fulfilled, it cannot be cancelled. Standard return and warranty processes still apply after delivery. See our Returns Policy for further details.
Special-Order & High-Value Purchases
Certain products—such as crate engines, long motors, short blocks, transmissions, or other high-value components—are classified as Special-Order Items. These products are not kept in stock and are ordered specifically for each customer.
Special-Order Items require full payment before Fast Industries will place the order with the supplier. Once payment has been received and the order has been submitted, the purchase cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded for change of mind.
All costs associated with the procurement, handling, freight, insurance, importation, customs clearance, or additional delivery charges are the responsibility of the customer. Any unexpected or carrier-applied fees required to complete delivery to the customer’s nominated address must be paid by the customer.
Special-Order Items are non-returnable unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law. Warranty conditions vary by manufacturer and will be honoured in accordance with the supplier’s terms.
By purchasing a Special-Order Item, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these conditions.
General Conditions
• Fast Industries reserves the right to refuse cancellations once production, packing, or fulfilment has begun.
• Changes to orders after checkout may not be possible.
• All cancellations, returns, and warranty claims are subject to our full Returns & Refunds Policy.
• Fraudulent chargebacks or misuse of payment disputes will be reported and pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• Payment information may be securely stored for fulfilment, deposits, or pre-order balance collection.
